During the formative presentation, I have talked through the concepts of my online exhibition, Red, and also showed the first photoshoot that I have done with edited images and two other test shoots which I have done for another two photo shoots. My mentors, Sebastiane and Anna have commented that the content and the concepts of the photo shoots have definitely improved since the last time they saw my concepts during the PechaKucha presentation. They have also seen more research which I have done on Surrealism from my images compare to last time.

On the "Profits Pouring From All Sides" Shoot, I have created four images at the moment. Sebastiane and Anna has commented that on the top tight corner gif image and the middle image at the bottom, the picture is similar and they said I could develop more images rather than repeating the same format. Also, they prefer the image to be in gif format like the right corner image.
On the powerpoint, I haven't put the storyboards of my fashion film yet, but I have placed some research on the editing effects that I would like to experiment with on my film. Therefore, I will need to complete the storyboard as soon as possible, so that they will know more about the process and the ideas of my film. On the other hand, they also want me to start working on building my website. The time schedule is a bit behind at the moment and I have to chase up the time from week 10 onwards.
Next step:
- Complete the other two photo shoots
- Start the storyboard of the 2-minute fashion film and test out the lighting
- Continue to build the exhibition website
Test shoot for "You Me or Her?"
In this week, I have done a test shoot for "You, me or Her" Test Shoot. I have booked the studio for the shoot, however when I went downstairs to the studio, there were people in the studio and I have told them that I have booked the studio. They have asked me if I could give them half and hour to do the shoot but I have rejected since I have booked the studio in advance and I do not want my model to wait for the shoot to get completed.
During the shoot, I have shown my model the poses I want her to do and I took inspiration from the Chinese Opera's performers. I think my model was able to transform the pose effectively, however, on some of the photo, the hand gesture is a bit awkward and there is still improvements that I could adjust and tell her next time on the final shoot. The lighting and the make-up, hair and styling work well together on this test shoot.
