Ballet Mannequin is an experimental silent film directed by Dudley Murphy and Fernand Leger. The film has inspired me to look at the editing and also the way how unrelated objects and things could be joined together. The movements of the object, the composition of the scene for instance, a lady was sitting on a swing upside down, has inspired me to experiment more about the layout of the scenes and the editing method which I could develop.

After watching The Return to Reason film, it has given me the idea of how to join different scenes together through movements of objects.
