Logo For Red Exhibition Website

I have created a logo for Red Exhibition Website as I believe a logo could help with the website promotion and also reminds the audiences about my exhibition when every time they see the logo. The color of the logo focuses on red color which refers to the theme of the project. I have used the English word (RED) with a traditional style font while for the Chinese word (红), I have used a font which shows a traditional style of Chinese writing but also features modern touch in it. The idea of using both English and Chinses word within the logo shows the idea of globalisation and refers to the project aim of sharing the concept of cultural exchange to the audience. 

It also indicates to the audiences that this exhibition has a connection with Chinese culture. The red circular shape on the background is used to link to Chinese culture because circular shape means 'fulfilled', 'unity', 'oneness' and 'perfection', things that involve circular shape have good meanings in Chinese culture. However, because I want to make the logo more unique, I have made half of the circular shape missing to show an unusual form which on the other hand refers to my idea of using surrealism concept in this project.
